Planning Terms

1. About Helava Travel

Helava Travel is a Fiji-specialist travel planning consultancy operated by Renee Leslie. We provide independent travel planning advice, digital travel guides, and 1:1 planning sessions to help travellers plan their Fiji trip with confidence.

Helava Travel is an IATA-accredited agency. Our core service is independent planning and advisory — bookings are not part of our standard offering and are available only in exclusive, limited circumstances at our discretion.

2. Planning Sessions

When you purchase a planning session with Helava Travel, the following terms apply:

• What you are purchasing: A 1:1 video planning session (Plan With Me — 60 minutes) with Renee Leslie. You receive independent Fiji planning advice, honest recommendations, and a follow-up email summary.
• What is not included: Planning sessions do not include booking services. All bookings remain your responsibility unless an exclusive booking arrangement has been separately agreed in writing.
• Cancellations: If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours before your session at bula@helavatravel.com. We will do our best to find a suitable alternative time.
• Refunds: Planning sessions are non-refundable once the session has taken place. If a session has not yet occurred and exceptional circumstances apply, please contact us directly.

3. Digital Guides — Find Your Fiji (Paid)

Find Your Fiji is a digital travel planning guide. Upon successful payment of AUD $27, the guide is delivered to you as a PDF download.

• Refund policy: Due to the instant digital delivery of this product, all sales are final and the guide is non-refundable once access has been granted.
• Technical issues: If you experience any difficulty accessing or downloading your guide, contact us at bula@helavatravel.com and we will resolve it promptly.
• Permitted use: This guide is for your personal planning use only. Reproduction, redistribution, resale or republication of any content is prohibited.

4. Free Digital Guides

The Fiji Culture Guide and Fiji Food Guide are provided free of charge in exchange for your email address.

• Content is for personal use only and may not be redistributed or republished without written permission.
• By submitting your email address, you consent to receiving the requested guide and occasional planning-related updates from Helava Travel. You may unsubscribe at any time.

5. Accuracy of Information

We work hard to keep all information current and accurate. However, Fiji's tourism landscape changes — resorts open and close, prices move, menus change, operating hours shift. We are not liable for any inaccuracies in our guides or on this website. Always verify critical details directly with suppliers before you travel.

6. Limitation of Liability

Helava Travel provides independent travel planning advice. Helava Travel is an IATA-accredited agency; however, unless an exclusive booking arrangement has been separately agreed in writing, we act in a planning and advisory capacity only. We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or service quality of any third-party supplier including airlines, resorts, transfer providers or activity operators.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation, medical cover and travel disruption cover for all Fiji travel.

7. Privacy

We collect your name and email address to fulfil your purchase or guide request, and to respond to enquiries. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. You may opt out of any communications at any time by emailing bula@helavatravel.com or clicking unsubscribe in any email.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
