Helava is a Rotuman word meaning beautiful, stunning and radiant. My mother's family is from Rotuma, a small island that is part of Fiji, and that connection is a big part of why Helava exists.
I have worked in travel for more than 20 years, back when paper tickets were still part of the job. I have watched the industry move from personal advice to booking engines, endless tabs and recycled top ten lists. Now I bring something completely different to this side of travel: calm, clear, human planning.
A lot of travellers do not need more options. They need someone to help them understand what suits their style, how long to stay, where to base themselves, what to skip and how to make the whole trip feel easy before they spend money.
Helava specialises in planning and itinerary design for Fiji, the South Pacific and beyond. We help travellers turn ideas into a clear plan, with honest destination guidance and practical next steps. For clients who want everything handled, we also offer full service booking exclusively after the planning work is clear.
Konrad
Konrad handles the operations, the systems, the workflow and the tools that make it possible for me to focus on planning properly. We are two people doing thoughtful work with care, not a volume agency trying to move people through a template.
We are a Fijian family. Fiji is our home, and we now help people plan trips everywhere with the same care we put into our own islands.
Our Philosophy
Every journey we design is different. We listen first. We do not put templates in front of you. We do not take placements from properties. Every recommendation needs to make sense for the person, the season, the budget, the travel style and the reason behind the trip.
When you plan with us, you get clear thinking from the start. Not a different voice every time. Not a generic list. You get practical guidance, honest opinions and a plan you can actually make decisions from.
Fiji is our specialty. More than 20 years in this industry also means we know how to plan beyond Fiji with the same level of care, from Japan and Italy to safaris, cruises and complex family travel.
